Content:

constructing houses and commercial buildings, top to bottom; various roofing structures, including traditional 'cut' roofs and dormer windows; floor joists, hatches, and different joist coverings; fitting stairs, encasements, kitchen units, worktops and more; installing all types of doors: single, doubles, French and sliding; organising, planning, and pricing jobs; interpreting drawn information, including CAD; energy efficiency, estimating quantities, and health and safety in construction.

Entry Requirements

Carpentry and Joinery (Pre-Apprenticeship) (Level 5). Entry subject to interview and aptitude test.
