This course is for current and prospective English language teachers who see themselves as potential managers of language teaching departments or schools. This Masters course is one of only a few such degrees in the UK.
During this Masters course, you’ll learn the key knowledge and skills needed to be a professional teacher of English as a foreign language. In addition, you’ll develop the competencies to manage in a multicultural working environment, through modules taught by the internationally renowned University of Stirling Management School.
You can exit after 6 months with the PgDip in Management and English Teaching.
You can exit after 9 months with the PgDip in Management and English Teaching.
A minimum of a second class Honours degree (2:1 preferred) or equivalent. Applicants without these formal qualifications but with significant appropriate/relevant work/life experience are encouraged to apply.
INTO University of Stirling offers a Graduate Diploma for those students who do not meet the required criteria for this course. If you successfully complete the Graduate Diploma in Media, Humanities and Social Sciences and meet the required progression grades, you will be guaranteed entry onto this Masters degree.
