This entry level course is a great place to start if you are interested in repairing cars. A hands on practical introduction to vehicle servicing skills and system repair skills will enable you to gain the basic skills and knowledge to carry out vehicle maintenance and body repair.

This pre-apprenticeship programme enables you to gain basic skills and knowledge with repairs on engines, brakes, cooling, steering, tyres, exhausts, fuel, transmission and suspension systems. Students are expected to use theory classes, online training packages and independent study to gain the underpinning knowledge.

No formal entry requirements. Aptitude test.

Progression Routes

Students may progress into employment in the automotive industry through our apprentice programme or alternatively to one of our full-time college based programmes.
