This course has been designed to give you an introduction to engineering disciplines and opportunities available in diverse engineering sector.

This course is ideal if you would like a taster of engineering as it will give you practical skills across a range of engineering subjects including mechanical, electrical and electronic.

Course content includes:

Machining; Welding; Hand skills; Electronic circuit construction; Assemble; Fabrication; Core skills: Numeracy, Communication and IT.

Entry Requirements

2 subjects at National 4 including Applications of Maths. Interview.

Progression Routes

Employment or Modern Apprenticeship or further study at SCQF Level 5.
