This course will offer you an insight into a variety of engineering sectors and allows you to make choices into which engineering career you may wish to follow.

This course is ideal if you would like a taste of engineering as it will give you practical skills across a range of engineering subjects including mechanical, electrical and electronic.

Course content includes:

Machining; Welding; Hand skills; Electronic circuit construction; Assembly skills; Fabrication; Core skills: Numeracy, Communication and IT.

Entry Requirements

National 3 or 4 in a maths based subject. Interview.

Employment or Modern Apprenticeship or further study at SCQF Level 5.
