This Advanced Diabetes CPD Award provides students with the knowledge, confidence and capability required in diabetes management.

The incidence of diabetes is rising globally and becoming one of the fastest growing issues in public health. Diabetes is a long-term condition in which self-management is essential, along with support from healthcare professionals.

The module is aimed at professionals registered either with General Medical Council (GMC), Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), or Health Professions Council (HPC).

Entry Requirements

You need to be a healthcare professional, registered either with:
-General Medical Council (GMC)
-Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) or
- Health Professions Council (HPC)

Evidence of being able to study at SCQF level 9 is also required.
