This course has been designed to allow you to develop your knowledge, understanding and skills in fabrication and welding processes. The course is ideal if you want to enter the fabrication and welding industry. It includes practical and thermal cuttings along with theory.

Units include:
Engineering: Using Information Technology; Engineering Project; Health and Safety; Fabrication Processes; Pattern Development; Thermal Cutting Skills; Welding Processes; Metal Inert Gas/Metal Active Gas; Fabrication Skills.

Entry Requirements

National 4 English; Maths or Physics and a technological subject. Interview.
