The food and drink manufacturing industry is a growth sector within the Scottish economy with a wide range of jobs at all levels with these businesses. The industry within Lanarkshire alone is recognised by big names like Tunnocks, Dawnfresh, Albert Bartlett, Lightbodies, Bells of Shotts and Border biscuits

But that is not all, small bespoke and artisan food and drink manufacturing companies are in every town, producing innovative, high quality products.

This course will allow you to learn about the following:

The food and drink industry; Food science and technology; Products: concept to launch; Food hygiene; Health and Safety; Kitchen skills; Bulk food production.
