The Introduction to Mental Health course will provide you with an insight into mental health and mental illness.

You will learn about the history of mental health services and attitudes towards people with mental disorders. You will consider how relevant legislation impacts on the services provided.

You will consider the mental health continuum and gain knowledge of how mental health problems affect individuals and others, you will investigate services available to people with mental health problems and for those who support people with mental health problems.
