You will plan the manufacture of the garment, manufacture the garment following a pattern, learn how to cut out pattern pieces and learn how to sew your garment on industrial lockstitch and overlocking machines.
You will also be required to comply with regulations and procedures and use safe working practices.
3 hours per night - 6.00 to 9.00 pm.
No formal entry requirements. You must have an interest in dressmaking.
Students may progress to more advanced evening classes such as Corsetry or Millinery.
Students often progress onto our full-time National Certificate and Higher National Diploma programmes.
