This is a part-time course designed for non-native speakers of English who are interested in a career in the early education and childcare sector.

Content:
Skills for Work: Early education and childcare national 4 Units (SCQF level 4); Employability units (SCQF level 5); Personal Development Units (SCQF level 5); Industry recognised qualifications: REHIS, First Aid, Infection control and Health and Safety; Complete a work placement.

Entry Requirements

National 4 ESOL, or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 4. Interview.

Progression Routes

Relevant childcare courses at SCQF Level 5 at Glasgow Clyde College.
