The aim of this course is to deliver enhanced, emerging and vocationally relevant sector skills that will support economic recovery in general as well as those that will help underpin the region’s key economic sectors.

Underpinning this goal is a course that offers transferable vocational skills that will improve your employment prospects by developing a range of transferrable business skills while developing Event sector specific skills.

Units studied include: Organising an Event; Events Industry: An Introduction; Event Legislation: Safety and Licensing; Event Budgeting and Funding; Information Technology; Communication: Business Communication; Marketing: An Introduction; Creating a Culture of Customer Care; Managing People and Organisations; Business Accounting

Entry Requirements

1 relevant Higher; or Foundation Apprenticeship Business Skills; or relevant qualifications at SCQF Level 6. Interview.
