This is a supported progression course for young people who are interested in a career in construction. On successful completion, this course will enable you to progress on to an SCQF Level 4 course in this curriculum area.

What you will study:
Mono-Blocking, Kerbing, Path Laying (Gravel, Concrete) Brickwork, Setting-Out, Levelling Using Spirit Levels or Theodolite, Health and Safety, Core Skills (ICT, Numeracy and Communications), Employability

Entry Requirements

2 subjects at National 4 including English and Maths, or a technological subject; or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 4 or 5. Interview and aptitude test.
