This course will allow you to gain an understanding of knowledge and practical hand skills within a construction related environment, to allow you to be employed by local or regional construction businesses.

This basic level programme will develop your hand skills with regards the different construction elements which are required to be completed within large or small construction projects.

What you will study:
Mono-Blocking, Kerbing, Path Laying (Gravel, Concrete) Brickwork, Setting-Out, Levelling Using Spirit Levels or Theodolite, Health and Safety, Core Skills (ICT, Numeracy and Communications), Employability

Entry Requirements

2 subjects at National 4 including English and Maths or a technological subject, or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 4. Interview.
