Photography Creative Photoshop is an evening class taught at Edinburgh College’s Sighthill campuses over 18 weeks. The course is designed to teach you an advanced understanding of Photoshop software and the creative image-making potential that this programme has. You will be taught how to manipulate existing graphics and photographs as well as creating photographs from scratch.

The photography department at Edinburgh College offers a fantastic range of dark rooms, studios and digital suites. Here you will use professional camera equipment; both analogue and digital. During this course you will have the opportunity to produce a personal portfolio of graphic artwork and photographic images. This can be used and submitted when applying for further study of photography or for a job within the photography industry. You will be taught the basics in photographic techniques which will allow you to create original images to work with on Photoshop. This course is ideal if you have an interest in photography, want to start a new hobby or pursue a career in the creative industries.
