Highly academic course. Includes: Research and Methodology, Sociology, Psychology, Investigation, Social Anthropology, History, Criminology (and Geography, Counselling & Politics at Gardyne Campus). Guidance and support with study/exam skills and UCAS applications provided. This 15 credit HNC allows 2nd year articulation into various undergraduate degrees including at Abertay, RGU, Aberdeen, UHI, Stirling, St Andrews and the Open University. Social Science allows progression to an extensive range of 1st or 2nd year undergraduate degrees and a wide range of careers. Progression to HND level study will depend on successful completion of all 15 credits, performance, attendance and reference.
