This exciting new course provides you with the required industry leading training skills to enhance your career as a barber. You will develop an understanding of the skills required to plan and carry out gents haircutting services, including clippering and razoring, and scalp massage. You will be taught by a team of industry experts with a wealth of industry experience and expertise in Barbering. Their expertise will ensure your learning is at the centre of their teaching practice.

You will study:
Cut Hair Using Basic Barbering Techniques; Create Basic Outlines and Detailing in Hair; Dry and Finish Men’s Hair.

You will be require to be 16 years of age by 23 August 2021 to undertake this course

Entry Requirements

2 subjects at National 5 or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 5. Advice session and interview.

Progression Routes

Students may apply to progress to further study in Hairdressing and are advised to check entry requirements with relevant organisations.
