The aim of this course is to help you to decide the career that you wish to study. Aimed at Christmas leavers, or anyone looking to get back into education, it is a way of sampling different STEM areas and making an informed decision as to where you want to study.

This course is a hands on and exciting course that will give you the broad practical skills base you will need to progress on to one of our Access courses in Science or Engineering. The course has an emphasis on development of scientific skills used in a wide range of industries and services using laboratory science and developing the skills and knowledge necessary for basic science engineering processes.

Entry Requirements

No formal entry requirements. Interview and skills test. An interest in science, technology and engineering is required.

Progression Routes

National Certificates in an engineering discipline.
