The Scottish Vocational Qualification (SVQ) in Professional Cookery at SCQF Level 6 allows candidates to demonstrate competence in job related skills in their particular area of work.
This qualification covers areas such as
Workplace health and safety, food safety, preparing and cooking a wide range of ingredients to produce complex dishes
Candidates must be in a workplace where they are carrying out relevant tasks and responsibilities which allow then to gather the required evidence. No prior qualifications are required to undertake this qualification.
