The Level 2 Scottish Vocational Qualification (SVQ) in Professional Cookery at SCQF Level 5 allows candidates to demonstrate competence in job related skills in their particular area of work.
This qualification covers areas such as
Workplace health and safety, food safety, standards of behaviour in hospitality, team working; and preparing, cooking a wide range of ingredients to produce basic dishes
Candidates must be in a workplace where they are carrying out relevant tasks and responsibilities which allow then to gather the required evidence. No prior qualifications are required to undertake this qualification.
