Content

This course is for those interested in producing sound for film and television. The course is highly practical and is delivered in our state of the art studios at our Stirling Campus.

Course content includes:

Exploring commonly used techniques such as Foley; Use of sound effect libraries; Automated dialogue replacement and mixing techniques; Participants will have the opportunity to work with film clips which have no audio to build a professional, high quality and aesthetically effective final mix to current broadcast standards.

Entry Requirements

No formal entry requirements needed, but applicants should be familiar with basic computer operation and have a keen interest in sound for film and TV.

Progression Routes

This course allows participants to enhance their knowledge and skills in the subject area which may assist in gaining entry to formal qualifications.
