The HND Business with Finance will provide a breadth of competences. You will study core subjects within business with additional subjects in financial services and accounting.

On successful completion you will achieve the HND business Group award.

Year 1:
Personal Financial Services; Information Technology Software Applications; Marketing an Introduction; Business Culture and Strategy; Economic Issues; Statistics for Business; Business Accounting; Managing People and Organisations; Graded Unit; Financial Sector An Introduction; ITIB Spreadsheets.

Year 2:
Preparing financial forecasts; Business Law An Introduction; Economics Micro and Macro Theory and application; Behavioural Skills for Business; Economic Issues World Economy; Business Contractual Relationships; Graded Unit 2; Business taxation.

Entry Requirements

2 relevant Highers + 3 relevant subjects at National 5; or Accounting (Level 5); or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 5 or 6. Interview.
