The Government recognises Social Care as a valuable growth area of employment to meet the diverse needs of the Scottish population. This is a new addition to the Social Care diet and an exciting opportunity for individuals who have been out of education for a period and now wish to return to education to gain qualifications. This course targets potential students wishing to pursue a career in Social Care.

Students will find this course gives both knowledge and skills required to move forward in the work of Social Care particularly those individuals who are looking for a change in career direction or indeed coming back into the workforce. The course is dynamic in its delivery and hosts a range of interesting Social Care orientated subjects. Course delivery is of a high standard, taught by a team of lecturing staff who are experienced in the area of Social Care.

Entry Requirements

You do not require any formal qualifications. If your last course of study was up to SCQF Level 5 you must have been out of full time education for three years. If your last course of study was at SCQF Level 6 or above you must have been out of full time education for five years.
