SECTT Pre-Apprentices

Electricians are in great demand. This course is aimed at those who want to become fully-qualified electricians and to go on to apply for an electrician apprenticeship, or similar. The course is backed by the Scottish Electrical Charitable Training Trust (SECTT), which manages the electrical apprenticeship programme in Scotland with the electrical industry and selected colleges.

The course includes:

Building electrical installations, such as lighting circuits and ring mains, in our electrical workshop; Electrical theory; Health and safety.

Entry Requirements

Relevant subjects at National 4, or a relevant Foundation Apprenticeship. You will also be required to pass a colour blindness test and an aptitude test including maths skills.
