Content

This course will provide knowledge on how modern engineering systems work. From mechanical engineering, to electrics, electronics and programmable control, the course helps you to understand how all of these individual parts join together to give a complete working system.

The course includes:

Fundamentals of electrical systems; Mechanical fundamentals; Material science; CAD; Mathematics; Control systems and transducers.

You will also have some ‘hands on’ classes in the engineering workshop.

Attendance: Tuesday 9.00am-4.15pm.

Entry Requirements

National 4 Maths. Interview and aptitude test.

Progression Routes

Relevant HNC or HND. Or Engineering apprenticeship.
