This exciting new course is designed to allow students to gain the skills they need to deliver a great dining experience, learn Front Office Skills using a live Hospitality Reservation system and gain an introduction to Hospitality finance and costing. It also gives fantastic experience for students who would like to progress to a career in Hospitality Management and Supervision, as this forms the second part of the qualification.
Course content includes:
Menu Knowledge, Design and Resources; Service of Hot Beverages/Barista Skills; Food and Beverage Skills including Wine and Cocktails; Handling Payments; Hospitality Costing; Front Office Operations (Reception); Housekeeping; Food and Beverage Supervision (Level 3).
2 subjects at National 4. Interview.
