This is an excellent and exciting course in beauty therapy and make-up. It provides the qualifications you need to gain a junior role within the Beauty Industry, or entry to higher-level courses.

You will study basic beauty treatments for face, body and nails, make-up application techniques for the beauty salon and related subjects within level 2 Beauty.

Units undertaken may include the following:

Follow health and safety in the salon; Provide self-tanning services; Provide facial skin care; Provide head massage; Remove hair using waxing techniques; Provide manicure treatments; Provide pedicure treatments; Provide make-up; Provide make-up; Provide eyebrow and eyelash treatments; Provide gel nails; Salon reception; Promote products and services.

Entry Requirements

3 subjects at National 4, preferably including English, or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 4. Entry subject to interview.
