This course will continue to give you the opportunity to develop a variety of skills within the music business. This will include the core elements of Finance, Law, Marketing and Promotions as it applies to the music industry. You will further your knowledge and skills on how to run live events, release records and manage artists. The HND year puts a lot of emphasis on entrepreneurship, and you will work on a significant music business project in an area of the industry you are most passionate about.
You'll learn about:
Music Law, Digital Distribution, Entrepreneurship, Music Business Start-Ups, Music Business Professional Development, Project.
You'll also gain practical experience managing the college's record label, Clydebuilt Records. You'll be expected to manage artists, release singles, and organise and manage events.
HNC Music Business. Entry subject to interview.
