This course gives you the opportunity to further develop your creative skills through designing and making a range of garments and accessories. A strong focus of the course is on quality of the finished product. You will also develop marketing and business skills to enable you to consider starting your own business or enterprise.

Areas include:

drawing skills for design; Kaledo software to create designs for print; sewing skills; millinery skills; corsetry skills; design and manufacture jewellery; visual merchandising and creating effective displays to increase sales; taking photographs; social media for marketing; how to start your own business.

Entry Requirements

Higher Art and Design, or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6. Interview and Portfolio.
