If you’re into sport and specifically football, this course could be for you. With a strong focus on football the course will cover work experience, specific football coaching qualifications, playing, coaching, officiating and football development. The course will cover all aspects of the game from grass roots coaching to refereeing. The HNC in Sports Coaching and Development (Football) will provide you with the knowledge and skills you’ll need to confidently develop the sport of football within a club or community setting. The course will provide you with both the experience and qualifications to work with senior football clubs and the opportunity to work abroad.

Entry Requirements

2 Highers, ideally including English and Physical Education, or a relevant NC Course at SCQF Level 6. A place on the course is subject to an interview process. A practical kit is required and may be purchased directly from the college.

Progression Routes

2nd year entry to HND Coaching and Developing Sport (Year 2) or progression to employment.
