If you want to improve your photography techniques, then this is the course for you. We will show you how you can use your digital camera to its full potential exploring some of the techniques behind photography and common features found on modern-day digital cameras.

Learn how to enhance your photos using photographic software programmes.

You will also learn how to use your camera correctly, looking at:
Aperture, Shutter Speed; Compositional Techniques; Photographing People

You will learn how to be selective with depth of field, shutter speeds, composition, lighting techniques, downloading and re-sizing images, printing and manipulation of digital images using a PC in addition to presentation techniques. No previous experience is necessary.

The course has been designed to show you how to achieve the best images with a digital camera. You will be working on short individual projects which interest you, while working within a creative, supportive and friendly atmosphere.

Progression Routes

Options for full time study would be NC Photography (Non advanced) or HNC Photography our advanced programme.
