The course will introduce the following areas: Livestock Husbandry, Health and Welfare; Livestock Reproduction and Digestive Systems; Tractor Operations and Attachments; Farm Maintenance Skills; Soils and Fertility; Grassland Production; Dairy Production; Calf Rearing Systems; Forage Crop Production; Crop Production; Accident and Emergency Procedures; Agricultural Environmental Awareness.
No formal entry requirements. However, all students will be expected to have a keen interest in agriculture and land-based industries. Practical agricultural experience will also be considered favourably. All students will be required to attend interview.
