This practical and unique Access to the Creative Industries is a great opportunity for anyone wishing to take their first steps towards professional training in music and multimedia.

Run in partnership with Reeltime Music based in Newarthill, the 18-week course covers all aspects of music and multimedia in a practical nature and within a commercial studio environment.

Students will work on a selection of practical media projects counting towards a recognised qualification and offering progression to further education within a creative industry context. Using industry standard software and hardware, you'll have access to a fully equipped recording studio and music rehearsal facilities at our Motherwell Campus and Reeltime Music studios.

Entry Requirements

Applicants must demonstrate an interest in working in the music and sound production industry as part of their application and participate in a formal interview. Experience of using computing software and possessing good communication skills are essential.

Prior relevant industry experience will also be considered.
