The Advanced Vehicle Maintenance class is designed to give people fundamental knowledge and understanding of the Motor vehicle engine and give them the practical skills to allow tasks such as timing belt replacement and valve adjustment. It also looks at the diagnosis of faults using a variety of computerised diagnostic equipment.

This class can be taken as a progression from the basic maintenance class and also as a stand-alone class for those with a good knowledge of motor vehicle maintenance looking to learn more about the engine systems.

Entry Requirements

There are no specific entry requirements but previous completion of our Automotive Maintenance (Basic) course is preferred or a good understanding of motor vehicle maintenance.
