Activity and adventure tourism in Scotland is experiencing significant growth and there are many exciting opportunities if you are looking to pursue a career involving helping others to enjoy adventurous activities.

Business has grown in areas including mountain climbing, sailing, mountain biking, canyoning, skiing, kayaking, and gorge walking and in more gentler activities including wildlife watching, golfing, hill walking, food and drink and heritage trails.

Through this course, you will challenge yourself to develop your skills in the outdoors gain qualifications and experience some of the rivers and waterways of Scotland as you acquire skills in paddle sports.

The practical element of this course (paddle sports) combined with theoretical learning and teaching will ensure that you are very employable when you complete this course.

Entry Requirements

5 subjects at National 4 including English and Maths or equivalent; or Activity Tourism (with Climbing award) (NPA). Group interview.
