Content

This course will give you the skills, knowledge and understanding to develop your career in the Travel and Tourism Industry. You'll gain the skills and knowledge required to provide high quality customer service and enhance your own employability.

The subjects you'll study include:
Structure of the Travel and Tourism Industry; Applying Marketing Principles in Travel and Tourism; International Tourist Destinations; Digital Culture; Retail Travel Practice; Air Travel; Language Options.

If the language option is chosen, you may also study French, German, Italian or Spanish.



Entry Requirements

1 relevant Higher plus 3 subjects at National 5 including English; or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6. Entry subject to interview.

Degree level courses; employment in tourist information centres, visitor attractions, travel agents, airlines, airport services, tour operator representatives, car ferry
