The Hospitality Industry offers exciting career opportunities within hotels, bars and restaurants both nationally and internationally. This course will provide you with the practical skills and detailed theoretical knowledge required to undertake a variety of job roles within this industry as well as entry to higher level Hospitality and related courses.
You will study subjects associated with restaurant and bar service, accommodation and reception operations as well as essential knowledge for operating a business. As a team member, you will work within Scholars’ Restaurant one of the college’s commercial outlets to develop your practical skills in Customer Care and Food and Beverage Service.
3 subjects at National 5; English and Maths minimum at National 4; or NC/NQ Hospitality or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 4. Entry subject to successful interview.
