Anaesthesia is the field of health care that is concerned with the management of patients undergoing surgery. These patients require accurate pre-operative assessment, optimisation, precise management both intraoperatively and postoperatively. Entrants to this online programme will be expected to have some experience in managing this group of patients and a relevant qualification at bachelor level. The aim of this online course is to equip graduates with state-of-the-art knowledge in anaesthesia & leadership. Six core anaesthesia modules will be completed during the first year of this thee year MSc Programme. A PgCert in Leadership in Health and Social Care will be completed during the second year and a dissertation during the third year of study. Graduates will also develop academic and quality improvement skills that will enable them to introduce evidence-based interventions in their clinical setting and become clinical leaders within their own department.

You can exit after 24 months with PgDip Clinical Anaesthesia and Leadership
