The MSc Mobile Web Development is fully accredited by the British Computer Society and is designed to meet the demands of the increasing use of mobile devices to provide applications and services to users and enterprises.

The MSc is both career- and practically-focused; you will spend a large proportion of class time in computing laboratories engaging with the appropriate tools and acquiring practical knowledge. You will learn how to develop applications for mobile devices and software that adapts to various platforms on which they run, especially smartphones. You will develop your design and development skills and position yourself to target employment opportunities in software development for the mobile web.

You can exit after 120 credits with PgDip Mobile Web Development.

Entry Requirements

Honours degree, or equivalent, in a science, engineering, computing or technology discipline. Not suitable for candidates who have covered mobile/web development in any great depth during their previous studies.
