Content

A very hands-on basic programme of study. Subjects will include propagation, tree and shrub planting, hard landscaping, plant maintenance, grounds maintenance and horticultural machinery. This course is project-based including various relevant career visits. Plus: Introduction to employability skills, communication, numeracy and IT.

Entry Requirements

No formal entry requirements. Interview. Ability to work at SCQF Level 3. Candidates must be willing to work outdoors in all weathers, work as part of a team on practical, physically demanding tasks.
