The specific aim of this course is to develop and master the basic hairdressing skills and the underpinning knowledge required to pursue a career within the hairdressing industry.

In addition, essential and core skills progression feature through communication, selling skills and ICT learning.

You will also have the opportunity to participate in a wide range of activities to include practical workshops, demonstrations and a competition.

The practical elements of the course are delivered in a realistic working salon environment involving members of the public in preparation for further study or employment.

Entry Requirements

No formal entry requirements. Interview.

NC Hairdressing (SCQF Level 6). Employment as a Salon Junior.
