This course is located in the distinctive location of North Uist in the Outer Hebrides. The Island has a diverse landscape and is renowned for a rich natural history and fascinating archaeological past. The Hebridean islands also retain their unique Gaelic culture and language.

The course attracts a diverse group of learners from the islands and further afield, and is made up of younger students moving on from school as well as those returning to education. With small group sizes and the input of a number of specialised tutors, the learning experience is full of new challenges and creative opportunities. Portfolio preparation is embedded into the course structure for students intending to apply on into Higher Education art courses.

Entry Requirements

3 subjects at National 5 preferably including English and Art and Design. Portfolio of work required to be shown at interview.
