This 17 week full-time course (running from September to January) covers everything from looking after customers to job seeking activities and is a great way to get back into studying. A background to working in business, tourism, events or retailing will give you the opportunity to develop your skills in the workplace and to learn more about working in customer facing industries.

You will study: Confidence building; Introduction to events; Introduction to working as a holiday rep; Introduction to airport operations; Travel and Tourism in the UK and worldwide; Travel and Tourism in Scotland; Preparing for employment: first steps; Building own employability skills; Responsibilities of employment; Dealing with work situations; IT and communications; Customer care.

Entry Requirements

3 subjects at National 3; or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 3. Interview.
