Introduction to Retail and Customer Skills (Level 4)

This course aims to provide an introduction to the world of retail and dealing with customers. It is a “hands on” course that includes a short work placement. You will get the opportunity to use a range of business equipment, set up a “pop-up shop” and practice running your own enterprise activity. You will also undertake a short work placement in a retailer towards the end of the course.

Employability Award (level 4); Personal Finance Award (level 4); National Progression Award in Customer Service (level 4); National Progression Award in Business and Marketing (level 4); National 4 Business.

Entry Requirements

Relevant subjects including English and Maths at SCQF Level 3 or 4. Basic IT skills are essential.

Progression Routes

Level 5 programmes in Business, Business and Accounting or Administration and IT.
