Content

This course is an alternative to a Standard Grade, Intermediate or National qualification in ICT, which is studied in school. It is useful for more mature students who don’t have an up-to-date computer qualification. It is also a good way for younger students to improve on the ICT qualification they got at school. This unit is about using straightforward information and communication technology (ICT) to access, process, and present information in personal, workplace, social, and educational situations.

This course covers 4 topics:
ICT Operations, Word Processing, PowerPoint, Internet

Normally students will work through SCQF Level 4 first and then progress on to SCQF Level 5.
