Candidates will gain a highly desirable industry recognised qualification which provides the practical skills and technical knowledge required to carry out an engineering role safely and effectively.

Subjects include: Turning, Milling, Hand Fitting, CAD, Fabrication, Welding, Assembly, Maintenance,
PLC’s, Electrical.

Entry Requirements

3 subjects at National 4 or 5 including Maths preferred or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 4 or 5. Entry subject to interview.

Progression Routes

Shipbuilding, manufacturing maintenance and other engineering fields. Or you could develop your skills further by studying another course, such as NC Manufacturing Engineering at SCQF Level 5 or NC Engineering Systems at SCQF Level 5
