Successful students are required to select a branch of engineering in which to specialise. Each student may be interviewed by an engineering employer with the goal of obtaining a Modern Apprenticeship with the company. Previous students have successfully progressed to employment in shipbuilding, manufacturing maintenance and other engineering fields.

Subjects include: Turning, Milling, Hand Fitting, CAD, Fabrication, Welding Assembly, Maintenance,
PLC’s, Electrical

Entry Requirements

English, Maths and a technological subject at National 4. Entry subject to interview.

Progression Routes

Shipbuilding, manufacturing maintenance and other engineering fields.
