This one year course will provide you with practical skills and knowledge that meet the needs of employers.

You will develop knowledge and skills in areas such as building measurement and cost studies, construction materials as well as sustainability and modern methods. You will gain contemporary vocational skills including research, planning and organisation skills.

Course includes:
CAD; Architectural Design Sketching and Drawing; Health and Safety in Construction; Building Science; Building Services: An Introduction; Building Maintenance Technology; Construction materials and Specification; Domestic Construction; Site Surveying; Building Measurement and Cost Studies; Construction Industry Fundamentals; Substructure; Scottish Law for Construction; Sustainability and Modern Methods of Construction; Graded Unit 1.

Entry Requirements

2 Highers preferably including English and Maths or a science subject.
