This course will teach you the essential and practical skills that employers are seeking. During your time at Edinburgh College, your knowledge and skills will be developed in areas such as Building Measurement, Cost Studies, Construction Materials and Sustainability. You will learn modern methods used in the built environment industry and advance your technical skills in research, planning and organisation.

CAD; Architectural Design Sketching and Drawing; Health and Safety in Construction; Building Science; Building Services: An Introduction; Building Maintenance Technology; Construction materials and Specification; Domestic Construction; Site Surveying; Building Measurement and Cost Studies; Construction Industry Fundamentals; Substructure; Scottish Law for Construction; Sustainability and Modern Methods of Construction.

Entry Requirements

2 Highers preferably including English and Maths or a science subject plus National 5 Maths.
