This exciting new Course is designed to give you the required practical skills and knowledge to work in the Hospitality Industry. The industry is vast and many jobs are available across the region in Dumfries and Galloway and around the world in this sector. This course focuses on Food and Beverage Service, Customer Care, Product Knowledge, Industry Knowledge and Work Placement.

Units may include:
Hospitality Industry; Food Hygiene for the Hospitality Industry; Customer Care Excellence in Hospitality; Costs and Control in Hospitality; Leading a Hospitality Team; Food and Beverage Operations; Cookery Processes; Work Placement.

Entry Requirements

3 subjects at National 5 or NC Hospitality or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 5. Interview.
