A project-based course requiring completion of a research task to include Animal Survival Behaviour, Behaviour of Animals in Zoos and Welfare of Animals in Zoos leading to a Level 6 National Progression Award (NPA) in Zoo Animal Behaviour and Welfare.

Students will achieve recognition and accreditation for Research Skills and Problem Solving as well as Digital Media Elements whilst gaining the skills required to plan and produce a documentary and video diary. Numeracy and Communication elements also feature to ensure candidates are equipped with the required skills to successfully complete the end project.

Entry Requirements

National 5 in English, Maths, Biology or Computing Science preferred; or relevant national qualification at SCQF Level 5
