This course will allow you the opportunity to learn and understand the core principles and technologies that underpin Mechatronics. These will be an essential platform for tackling many Mechatronics tasks and developing a more in-depth knowledge of Mechatronics. It will also provide you with opportunities to develop sound practical Mechatronics investigation, construction, testing and project skills which are critical to being a good mechatronics technician and/or Incorporated Engineer.

You will gain knowledge, understanding and skills in: electronics, electrical engineering, computer technology, control engineering, and mechanical engineering.

Entry Requirements

Higher Maths plus Higher Physics preferred; or NC Manufacturing Engineering; or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6; interview
