NC Engineering Systems will provide knowledge on how modern engineering systems work. From mechanical engineering, to electrics, electronics and programmable control, the course helps you to understand how all of these individual parts join together to give a complete working system.

The course includes:

Fundamentals of electrical systems; Mechanical fundamentals; Material science; CAD; Mathematics
Control systems and transducers.

You will also have some ‘hands on’ classes in the engineering workshop.

Entry Requirements

Maths at National 4. Interview. Short aptitude test.

Progression Routes

HNC Engineering Systems or a level 6 course. Or Engineering apprenticeship.
